How to change the Weather

To modify weather conditions, you need a 'Sunny Day Site' or 'Rain Dance Site' habitat. These require two Castform Weather Charms, and one dish of Plated Food. The charms hang on walls flanking the food plate. Interacting with a charm flips it between Rain Form and Sunny Form. When both charms match, a Pokémon with the appropriate specialty eats the food and performs either Rain Dance or Sunny Day, changing the weather.

How to get Castform Weather Charms

One charm comes from Professor Tangrowth during the main story. A second can be purchased via the Pokémon Center Terminal. Additional charms occasionally appear as Lost Relic items or can be obtained from Dream Islands by climbing the tower ladder.

Does the weather change which Pokémon can appear?

Some Pokémon will only appear if its raining, while some will pop up when it's sunny only. Rain-exclusive Pokémon include Goomy, Sliggoo, and Goodra. Sunny-exclusive Pokémon include Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, and Cacnea.
