How to Reach Bleak Beach
Bleak Beach is a dark, damp area accessed by taking the eastern gate out of the Withered Wasteland. You'll unlock it after completing the 'Yawn Up A Storm' quest. Follow Professor Tangrowth into the new region.
Stop the Flooding
Your first task is blocking gaps on the waterfall behind the Pokémon Center using available blocks to stop water flow. Fix Meowth's flooded home and build a Knitting Station early on.
Brighten Things Up — Electricity & Mosslax
The main quest requires illuminating Bleak Beach to wake up Mosslax. Meet Peakychu on an island and learn about Generators and Utility Poles. Three power methods are available: Pawmi/Mareep for direct electrical generation, Furnaces that burn resources for power, and water wheels/windmills for natural energy.
Connect poles to power sources and light multiple streetlights. Activate five charging stations throughout the region. Once sufficient power reaches the stations, legendary Raikou appears, finally waking the sleeping Mosslax.
New Skills: Swim & Paint
At Bleak Beach, Piplup teaches Water-type Pokémon to clear muck. Create a Tropical Seaside habitat with Lapras to unlock the Surf transformation, enabling swimming on water.
Rebuilding the Pokémon Center
The Pokémon Center Rebuilding Kit is available from the PC once you reach Environment Level 3. You'll need 1,000 Life Coins, plus 20 Brick, 10 Twine, 10 Sea Glass Fragments, and 5 Iron Ore.
