What Is the Bulldoze Specialty?

The Bulldoze specialty allows Pokémon to help you demolish buildings, relocate them, and rebuild the Pokémon Center in Pokémon Pokopia. It's an essential ability for progressing through the game.

Prerequisites: Rock Smash & Hitmonchan

First, befriend Hitmonchan by setting up a punching bag in the ruins near the Pokémon Center in the Withered Wasteland. Learn Rock Smash from Hitmonchan, then complete Squirtle's request to break down stone walls. Beyond the broken wall lies a beach and a cave where Onix is trapped.

How to Rescue Onix

After finding Onix in the cave, consult Professor Tangrowth. The plan requires raising humidity to make it rain — complete the 'Yawn Up A Storm' quest by getting Slowpoke to yawn a 100-point yawn. Once Kyogre arrives and it rains, the blocks trapping Onix soften. Return to the cave and use Rock Smash to break them free.

Using Bulldoze

Once Onix joins your Pokopia, it unlocks the Bulldoze specialty. Use it to demolish unwanted structures, relocate buildings to better spots, and clear space for new habitats. This is essential for rebuilding the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center.
